CONTACT INFO:
Nancy Delmerico is the Roots
& Wings CSA coordinator. She can be reached at rootswingscsa@gmail.com
ROOTS & WINGS CSA pickup
is Sunday mornings between 7:30 and 9:30 at the South Presbyterian Church’s
parking lot, in Dobbs Ferry. Please consider walking or biking over! When
you arrive, simply check in with whichever volunteer is holding the clipboard
and then pick up your share. Please bring a bag, box, crate or basket. The
produce will be in crates on the table and signs will tell you how much to take
of each.
Each week we do need two
people to help out with checking people in and putting new crates on the table,
setting up tables, etc. Sign up for your shift here.
If you have a 15 week share,
please let Nancy know by Wednesday evening if you will NOT be picking up the
following Sunday. This is very important as the pick assignments for Thursday
through Saturday are given to Rexcroft Farm's crew at 6 AM on Thursday.
EXTRAS TO SIGN UP FOR

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It’s one of the best ways to eat fresh, healthy food and support local farms. When you become a member of a CSA, you're purchasing a “share” of the harvest from a regional farmer. Many members enjoy the community aspect of the weekly pick-up; sharing recipes and ideas, as well as vegetables, with like-minded people.
Rexcroft Farm Is an Integrated Pest Management farm, and relies on beneficial insects to combat pests as well as organically approved Insecticidal soap and other natural oils. They do not use genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Rexcroft Farm has been a member of Greenmarket in the NYC area since 1998. They are members of Farm Bureau and are a Pride of NY Farm.
